Ganfeng Lithium signs new contracts with LG Chem, Tesla

The major Chinese lithium producer has extended its offtake contract with LG Chem and signed a new agreement with Tesla.

Ganfeng Lithium has signed a supplementary contract with LG Chem to extend its offtake agreement for a further three years to the end of 2025, it said on Thursday September 20. This agreement will provide the battery maker with another 45,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide.
