China’s domestic magnesia prices edge up on regulatory restrictions, export prices unchanged

China’s domestic magnesia prices edged up due to stricter environmental regulations, while export prices stood still ahead of China’s National Day holidays.

Prices in the Chinese magnesia export market have held steady this week due to thin buying activity among overseas buyers. Most of China’s exporters had no intention of adjusting their export prices before the country’s seven-day holiday on October 1-7, although domestic prices did rise slightly because of environmental regulations....
