China's DBM price edges up on magnesia industry consolidation in Haicheng

China’s dead-burned magnesia (DBM) prices showed a slight increase due to Haicheng province's consolidation plan for its magnesia industry being moved forward.

The state-owned company Liaoning Magnesite Mining Co (LMMC), which was set-up by the Haicheng government, will officially begin control over all mining permits from the different subordinate companies and activities of magnesite mining, processing, sales and trading for 42 magnesia companies from October 15, according to the announcement from the...
