Iofina to produce less of iodine derivative after China imposes tariff

Iofina’s CEO rejects claims that the company has approached North American companies with cut-price derivatives after an anti-dumping tariff was enacted in China, and says that the company has instead focused its sales efforts on raw iodine.

Iodine producer Iofina will focus its efforts on selling raw iodine after an iodine derivative product was made subject to a significant anti-dumping tax by China, so that sales to the East Asian nation are no longer viable.
