Syrah cuts 2018 graphite production target again despite recoveries improving

The graphite miner now expects production to reach 101,000-106,000 tonnes in 2018, down about 39% on average from April targets, as a consequence of an outage in October and a slower-than-expected ramp up.
Graphite miner Syrah Resources is targeting a 2018
production level of 101,000-106,000 tonnes of graphite
concentrate at its Balama mine in Mozambique, further reducing
its forecasts after a fire in October halted operations for
over a month.
This is Syrah's second annual graphite production guidance
reduction this year.
