Sizable South African chromite production, sales volume gap persists in Jun-Aug

Mine production rates of chromite with 44-48% Cr2O3 content remained stable in June-August while sales showed further growth, perpetuating a significant gap between output and traded volumes.

The large gap between production and sales of South African high-purity chromite persisted during the summer months, showing continued slow ore production at mine against much higher sales levels, the latest data shows.
