Albemarle’s Kemerton project remains on schedule

Earthworks have begun on schedule for the development of the Kemerton lithium hydroxide project in Western Australia, Albemarle says.

North American chemicals producer Albemarle has said that its Kemerton lithium hydroxide conversion plant in Western Australia remains on target.

Albemarle started earthworks at the project on Wednesday January 2, soon after receiving the necessary environmental approval from federal and state governments in Australia.
