China’s lithium export volumes spike on fall in prices

Lower lithium prices in China drove a 1,500% rise in the country’s exports at the end of 2018.

Softer market conditions in the lithium market inside China over the course of 2018 caused a surge in export volumes of lithium carbonate in the last six months of the year, according to the country’s customs authorities.
