Chinese magnesia exports, prices rise in November

Exports of magnesia from China picked up ahead of the year's end in 2018, with prices rising on tight supplies and increasing interest from international buyers.
China exported 76,579 tonnes of caustic calcined magnesia
(CCM) in November 2018, with purchasing activity picking up
before the year-end, a 20.9% increase from the 63,332 tonnes
shipped out in November 2017, according to official Chinese
data.
Export values totaled $13.57 million, a year-on-year increase
