Iodine price range continues to widen downward

The low end of the spot price range for iodine has fallen for the third time in a month, with Japanese producers reporting low sales prices.

The spot price for iodine continued to widen downward in the latest assessment, with Fastmarkets learning that Japanese producers were selling material at $26.00 per kg in the spot market.

This was the third occasion in the past four weekly assessments when the bottom end of Fastmarkets’ price range...
