Nouveau Monde signs graphite offtake deal with Traxys

A newly signed agreement means that trader Traxys will market 200 tonnes per year of flake graphite for Canadian producer Nouveau Monde, increasing to 25,000 tpy in the following five years, as the miner ramps up from demonstration phase to full commercial production.

Canadian graphite producer Nouveau Monde Graphite has signed a binding offtake agreement with international trading house Traxys for the marketing of its output of flake graphite for the next seven years.

Nouveau Monde will supply 200 tonnes per year of flake graphite for the first two years of the agreement.
