China’s DBM exports down 13% in February but FM, CCM shipments increase

Shipment volumes of dead burned magnesia (DBM) went down in February 2019 year-on-year on reduced buying activities, but the volumes of fused magnesia (FM) and caustic calcined magnesia (CCM) went up slightly on an annual basis.

China exported 48,249 tonnes of dead burned magnesia (DBM) in February 2019, down 12.7% from 55,249 tonnes in the corresponding month of 2018 because of lower demand and slow buying activity, according to official Chinese data.
