China’s NEV output up 88% in March 2019 vs last year

China’s output and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) continued to rise in March 2019, supported by the development of the NEV sector.

China produced 128,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in March 2019, including pure electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in hybrids. This was up by 88.6% from March 2018, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
