Prices above $30 per kg reported in iodine spot market, but top end appears firm

Iodine market participants reported hearing of prices as high as $33 per kg during this week’s price assessment, but no transactions were confirmed at that price.

Spot prices for iodine narrowed upward by only $0.50 per kg in the latest assessment despite market participants reporting prices as high as $33 per kg.
