Syrah plans to produce 50,000-55,000 tonnes of flake graphite in Q2 but misses price target

Graphite output from Syrah Resources continues to ramp up and reached 48,000 tonnes in the first quarter of the year, but it failed to reach the minimum target price.

Australia-listed flake graphite producer Syrah Resources plans to produce 50,000-55,000 tonnes of graphite flake in the second quarter of 2019, it announced in its first-quarter report on Monday April 29.

Production in January-March was 48,000 tonnes, which was 19,000 tonnes more than in the previous quarter.
