Iodine spot price up $1.50 per kg in sharpest move since 2017

The spot price for iodine has suddenly jumped by $1.50 per kg, with Asian consumers reported to be willing to pay prices at the top of the new range.

The price of iodine jumped by $1.50 per kg in the week ended Friday May 10, the biggest change in the price since August 2017.
