China’s NEV output in April up 25% vs last year

China’s output and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased again in April 2019 although the rate of growth slowed compared with previous months.

China produced 102,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in April 2019, including pure electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in hybrids. This volume was up by 25% from April 2018, according to data recently released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
