Iofina seeks funding to develop new medical products from cannabis

The US-based iodine and iodine chemicals company is conducting research into hemp-derived oils.

Iodine and chemicals producer Iofina intends to raise $7.5 million, partly through a share placement, with some of the funds to be used in the development of a new product derived from cannabis, according to a press release dated Monday May 20.
