New iodine producer in Turkmenistan sells first tonnages

A new producer has entered the market while iodine prices continued to rise on reports of undersupply.

A new company has entered the iodine market, and has achieved sales of around three full containers so far, with the intention to produce around 200 short tons in this calendar year.
