China’s unshaped refractory materials output dips 0.37% in April

Unshaped refractory materials output in China edged down year on year in April, attributed to decreasing production of magnesia-based unshaped refractory products.

China produced 611,600 tonnes of unshaped refractory materials in April, down 0.37% year on year.

Magnesia-based unshaped refractory material output fell by 28.27% annually to 69,700 tonnes in April, more than offsetting the 4.87% increase in alumina-silicon refractory material production, which made up 541,900 tonnes of total output in the...
