Falling Chinese fused magnesia exports in April mirror price weakness in year to date

Chinese exports of fused magnesia were down on an annual basis in April on reducing buying activity, while dead burned magnesia and caustic calcined magnesia shipments rose.

Chinese exports of fused magnesia in April fell by 44.3% year on year to 29,218 tonnes, compared with 52,414 tonnes in the same month of 2018, according to official customs data.
