Antimony producers attend China talks to prevent further price drops

The global market for antimony trioxide continues to soften week on week on poor demand and sufficient supplies. Producers of antimony in China gathered last week to explore ways to prevent further drops in the price.

The antimony trioxide global market moved down this week because demand has remained low and supply has stayed high, Fastmarkets heard on Tuesday June 4. The price of the speciality chemical, which is mainly used in flame retardants, has been falling steadily week on week over the past month.
