China’s fused magnesia export price hits two-year low

China’s fused magnesia market has continued its downward trend in response to increasing stocks and weakening demand from the downstream refractory sector, pushing prices down to a two-year low.

Increasing stocks and weak demand continued to weigh on China’s fused magnesia market this week. Most producers lowered prices to boost sales and cash flow in a flat market leaving fused magnesia prices at their lowest level in nearly two years.
