Iodine spot price range at widest since 2015

The iodine spot price range reached its widest point for three and half years last week as prices from Japan continued to lag behind increases instigated by Chilean sellers.

The range in Fastmarkets' latest assessed spot prices moved to $3.25 per kg, a figure that has not been seen since December 2015, highlighting the pace at which the price increases have been occurring this year.
