China open to foreign investment in fluorspar, other fields in 2019

China’s government has continued to open some resources to outside investment in 2019 after granting permits to foreign companies in areas including fluorspar and opening up for graphite exploration and exploitation as well as the smelting and separation of rare earths in 2018.
The update will keep widening the access available to
foreign investors in certain industries, including fluorspar,
and will take effect on July 30, according to the National
Development & Reform Commission (NDRC).
