New iodine producer in Turkmenistan sells first tonnages

New entrant Himiya Senagat has sold around three containers of iodine so far, with prices continuing to rise in an undersupplied market.

A new company has entered the iodine market and has achieved sales of around three full containers so far, with the intention to produce around 200 short tons in this calendar year.
