EU new car sales rise for first time in over eight months

EU demand for passenger cars increased by 0.1% year on year in May, following eight consecutive months of decline, the European Automotive Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said in June.
New car sales in Europe totalled 1,400,518 units in May
2019, compared with 1,399,398 vehicles sold in May 2018.
