China’s DBM, CCM exports up in June; FM shipments fall again

Exports of dead burned magnesia (DBM) and caustic calcined magnesia (CCM) increased in June due to increasing buying on falling prices, while sluggish overseas markets kept fused magnesia (FM) exports in a downtrend.

China exported 93,457 tonnes of dead burned magnesia in June 2019, up by 25.5% from 74,469 tonnes in the corresponding month of 2018, reflecting increased buying activity, according to official Chinese data.
