Iodine prices hold firm although sellers’ report higher deal values

Sellers of iodine have reported achieving prices higher than the assessed range, but the price has remained steady for a sixth week - the longest such streak in a year.

The spot price for iodine has held firm for a sixth consecutive week in the assessment at the start of August, its longest such spell in a year, despite sellers reporting spot sales at the higher price of $35 per kg.
