China’s July NEV output, sales report negative growth

China’s output and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) decreased month on month in July 2019, while lithium prices continued their downtrend on quiet buying activities.

China produced 84,000 NEVs in July 2019, including pure electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in hybrids. This volume was down by 6.9% from July 2018, according to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
