Acidspar prices rangebound in China on weakening downstream sentiment

For the past 18 months price movement has been driven by supply cuts in China following environmental inspections, but now the focus is on how downstream demand is influencing acidspar pricing.

China’s acidspar price was unmoved on Thursday August 22, despite tight supply, due to weak downstream markets. 

Fastmarkets' assessment of the acidspar, 97% CaF2, wet filtercake, fob China price stood at $450-520 per tonne this week, flat for the third week running.
