China’s fused magnesia exports continue falling in July; DBM, CCM exports up

Exports of fused magnesia decreased in July year-on-year on slow demand from global buyers, while dead burned magnesia (DBM) and caustic calcined magnesia (CCM) exports were up.

China exported 31,065 tonnes of fused magnesia in July 2019, down by 24% from 40,890 tonnes in the same month of 2018, on continuing limited interest from overseas buyers, according to official Chinese data.

The export value of fused magnesia in July totaled $22.56 million, down 31.9% from $33.11 million...
