Iodine spot price inches up to end two-month stalemate

Market tightness continued to support the iodine spot price, drawing an end to an eight-week period of flatness.

The price for iodine, min 99.5%, spot, delivered US/Europe, cif Asia rose by 50 on the top end of the range to $29-33.50 per kg on Thursday August 29.
