China’s lithium carbonate exports down in July, hydroxide exports rise

China’s exports of lithium carbonate fell in July 2019 on an annual basis due to summer slowdown, while lithium hydroxide exports were up due to increasing demand from overseas buyers.

China exported 806 tonnes of lithium carbonate in July, down by 15.2% from exports of 951 tonnes in the corresponding month of 2018, according to official Chinese data.
