Sluggish domestic demand pushes down China acidspar price

Market participants have been saying for weeks that domestic demand for acidspar was softening in China. This has now been shown to be correct, with the price falling by 4%.

After several weeks of market participants reporting that end-market demand in China was growing weaker, the price of acidspar fell by $20 per tonne in Fastmarkets’ latest assessment on Thursday September 5.
