China’s finished steel exports in August at six-month low

Exports in August and the first eight months of the year were both down year on year due to weak overseas demand.

China exported 5.01 million tonnes of finished steel in August, the lowest volume the country has shipped since March, according to preliminary Chinese customs data released on Sunday September 8.
