EU new car sales fall by 8.4% in August, ACEA says

Demand for passenger cars in Europe fell 8.38% year on year in August 2019, the European Automotive Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said this week.

New car sales in Europe totalled 1,041,856 vehicles in August this year, compared with 1,137,173 units sold in the corresponding month of 2018, ACEA said on Wednesday September 18.
