Tianqi Lithium signs supply contract with battery-maker Northvolt

Swedish battery maker Northvolt ETT has signed a long-term supply agreement for lithium hydroxide supplies with China’s Tianqi Lithium.

Tianqi Lithium Kwinana (TLK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chinese lithium producer Tianqi Lithium, has signed a supply agreement for battery-grade lithium hydroxide with Northvolt, a Swedish battery maker, the East Asian producer said.

TLK will provide battery-grade lithium hydroxide to Northvolt between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2025.
