WSAC 19: Restart under way at Searles Valley soda ash plant but force majeure still in place

United States-based soda ash producer Searles Valley Minerals has restarted operations at its plant in California although it is still recovering from the damage caused by two earthquakes in July.

Production has restarted at California-based soda ash producer Searles Valley Minerals, according to four sources speaking on the sidelines of the World Soda Ash Conference, held in Cannes, France, on September 27-29.
