Iodine spot market strengthens on suppliers' push for higher prices

The global iodine market's price ranges have been narrowing amid sustained price increases, while overall prices reported have been close to and above $32 per kg due to suppliers' attempts to achieve higher prices.

The global iodine market has been on a sustained price uptrend, almost on a monthly basis, since that start of 2018 following tight material supply and suppliers' bullish market outlook.
