New acidspar capacities yet to weigh on prices due to quality queries

New volumes of acidspar are arriving at customers’ factories but for those tonnages to have a meaningful impact on the supply and demand balance, consistent product specifications must be achieved.

Users claim that if new acidspar capacity is to affect supply and demand fundamentals, there must be quantities of 97% CaF2 fluorspar available, which can be consumed by all end users. 

Tight supply has pushed prices higher over the past 18 months but demand is now reportedly coming off...
