Syrah Resources produces purified spherical graphite for first time in US

Graphite producer Syrah Resources has produced the first purified spherical graphite from its Battery Anode Material (BAM) plant in the United States, the company said on Monday November 4.

The Australian graphite producer said the first production of purified spherical graphite from the BAM plant in Vidalia, Louisiana, had been produced using natural graphite from the company's Balama project in Mozambique, in southeast Africa.
