China’s magnesia prices extend downtrend on weak demand

China’s magnesia market extended its downward trend this week due to a lack of downstream demand in both the domestic and overseas markets.

Most producers in China lowered their prices to boost sales, but downstream buyers had no immediate needs, sources said, so remained cautious about buying due to the possibility that prices could fall further.
