China’s NEV output, sales in fourth consecutive annual decline in October

The reduction of subsidies for new energy vehicles (NEVs) in late June was the main factor weighing on Chinese NEV output and sales in October.
China produced 95,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in October
2019, including pure electric vehicles (PEVs) and plug-in
hybrids. This is down by 35.4% from October 2018, according to
data released by the China Association of Automobile
Manufacturers (CAAM).
