China’s magnesia exports up in September

Chinese exports of dead burned magnesia, fused magnesia and caustic calcined magnesia increased year on year in September 2019 due to buyer restocking after the summer break.

According to official Chinese customs data, China exported 113,526 tonnes of dead burned magnesia (DBM) in September 2019, up by 21.8% from 93,233 tonnes in September 2018 due to a round of rebound buying from global buyers after the slack summer season.

The export value of DBM was up by 13.1%...
