Lower chrome prices contribute to 79% drop in Tharisa earnings per share

South African chrome miner Tharisa has warned that its earnings per share and headline earnings per share will drop by 79% year on year for the 12 months to September 30, 2019, partly due to a decline in chrome concentrate prices.

Tharisa expects to report earnings per share and headline earnings per share of $4 cents, within a 10% tolerance, compared with 19 cents a year ago, it said on Friday November 22.
