Rainbow plans Zimbabwe rare earths mining expansion

Rainbow targets a bigger market share in the growing rare earths market with the land acquisition.

Rainbow, Africa’s only rare earth miner, has expanded its operations by purchasing 10 mining claims in Zimbabwe.

The land purchased will be immediately explored by local subsidiary Rainbow Zimbabwe.

"The properties, while not historically explored for rare earths, have been explored for phosphate in the past," Rainbow said.
