Latest contracts reduce Rotterdam acidspar price to lowest in a year

A standoff over acidspar prices between producers and consumers has been ended by two contracts settled on a cif Rotterdam basis that have pushed the price to its lowest for more than a year.

The deadlock in the fluorspar market was broken when two contracts were settled that weighed down the cif Rotterdam price, bringing it to $437.50 per tonne at the midpoint - the lowest price in more than a year.
