Iodine contract prices reach four-year high

Market tightness continues to drive price increases for iodine with contracts reaching levels last seen in April 2015, although one producer believes that further increases could be coming.
Contract prices for iodine have risen to a level not seen
for four-and-a-half years, following a jump by $2 per kg at the
top end in this month’s assessment.
The current price assessment shows a midpoint of $32.25 per
kg, a level that has not been reached since April...
