China’s DBM and FM magnesia exports fell in October
Published: Monday, 02 December 2019
Chinese exports of dead burned magnesia and fused magnesia slumped in October from the same month of 2018 due to lower demand but caustic calcined magnesia exports rose slightly.
Market participants attributed a sizable year-on-year drop
in exports of dead-burned magnesia from China in October to
reduced buying interest from overseas buyers.
China exported 63,090 tonnes of dead burned magnesia (DBM)
in October, down by 32.4% from 93,281 tonnes in October 2018,
according to official Chinese customs data.
